Bernard De Baets has been elected to the grade of Fellow of IFSA (the International Fuzzy Systems Association) for outstanding contributions, pioneering applications, and support and development of the infrastructure of the fuzzy community. The award ceremony took place on May 24 at the World Conference on Soft Computing in San Francisco, USA.
