Liselotte De Ligne has been awarded the Ron Cockroft award to present her paper entitled "Impact of temperature and relative humidity on spatio-temporal fungal growth dynamics of Basidiomycetes" (L. De Ligne, G. Vidal-Diez de Ulzurrun, J. Van den Bulcke, J. M. Baetens, B. De Baets and J. Van Acker) at the 49th Annual Meeting of the International Research Group on Wood Protection held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Moreover, on April 30, 2018, she was awarded the Gareth Williams Award for the best oral presentation. In her paper, Liselotte De Ligne quantifies to what extent the growth dynamics of an important wood decay fungus is affected by temperature and relative humidity.
