| On September 4, 2015, Giulia Gonnelli successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis "On the assessment of the reliability of peptide-to-spectrum matches in Mass-Spectrometry-based proteomics"
and was awarded the title of Doctor of Biomedical Sciences. The research was a result of the collaboration of the research units CompOmics (Prof. Lennart Martens) and
KERMIT (Prof. Bernard De Baets), within the Nucleotides to Networks project.
