| On Oct 1, 2017, Jan Baetens joined the Department of Mathematical Modelling, Statistics and Bioinformatics as assistant professor funded by the Special Research Fund (BOF) in the field of spatio-temporal data analysis and modelling. Jan will further expand the activities in our spatio-temporal modelling research line. This way, each of the three main research lines of KERMIT is finally covered by a dedicated professor. It goes without saying that the KERMIT activities will remain largely interdisciplinary. |
