On October 4, 2017, Laura De Miguel Turullols successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis "Computing with uncertain truth degrees: a convolution-based approach" at the Public University of Navarre in Pamplona, Spain. She was awarded the title of Doctor of Computer Science. The thesis was supervised by Bernard De Baets (KERMIT, Ghent University) and Humberto Bustince (GIARA) and Esteban Induráin. This achievement represents a milestone in the longstanding cooperation between KERMIT and the research unit GIARA of the Public University of Navarre.
