On June 26, 2018, José De Jesús Arias García defended his Ph.D. thesis "A kaleidoscopic view of multivariate copulas and quasi-copulas" and was awarded the title of Doctor of Sciences: Mathematics. José was supervised by Bernard De Baets and Hans De Meyer. His jury included two international experts, Susanne Saminger-Platz and Fabrizio Durante.
