On September 24, 2019, Peter Rubbens successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis "Machine learning approaches for microbial flow cytometry at the single-cell and community level" and was awarded the title of Doctor of Bioscience Engineering. Peter was supervised by Willem Waegeman (KERMIT) and Nico Boon (CMET).
