The longstanding cooperation between KERMIT and the Department of Mathematics at the Université Mohamed Boudiaf in M'Sila, Algeria, has resulted in a fourth PhD graduate. On July 15, 2021, Norelhouda Bakri successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis "Closures and openings of ternary relations" and was awarded the title of Doctor of Mathematics. Nor was the first female PhD student jointly supervised by Lemnaouar Zedam and Bernard De Baets.
