On February 8, 2022, Olivier Pieters successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis "Reservoir computing with plants" and was awarded the title of Doctor of Engineering in Computer Science. Olivier was supervised by Francis wyffels (AIRO), Tom De Swaef (ILVO) and Michiel Stock (KERMIT). Olivier will continue this interdisciplinary research line as a postdoctoral researcher.
