On November 18, 2022, Nathan Muyinda successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis "Exploring the dynamics of ecological species in intransitive competition networks", and was awarded the title of Doctor of Bioscience Engineering: Mathematical Modelling. Nathan was a teaching assistant at the Ghent University Global Campus in Incheon, South Korea. He was supervised by Shodhan Rao and Bernard De Baets.
