On April 25, 2024, Nicolas Dewolf successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis "A comparative study of conformal prediction methods for valid uncertainty quantification in machine learning" and was awarded the title of Doctor of Bioscience Engineering: Mathematical Modelling.
Nicolas was supervised by Bernard De Baets and Willem Waegeman. His research was sponsored by the Flanders AI Research Program.
Nicolas was the hundredth PhD student supervised by Bernard De Baets, a milestone in the history of the research unit KERMIT.
